Sijonge Kuwe Food Gardening project has been active during the quarter under review.It is still very cold here in cape Town and summer has not come in yet.Despte cold whether 16 people were trained in Food Gardening skills and all these people completed Basic Business Skills Training which is a two week course on how to run a business.
5 workshops were held during this period and 28 people attended these workshops namely Budgeting,Marketing,Costing & Pricing,How to draw uop a Business Plan as well as Record Keeping.
Networking meetings were held with different stakeholders including Old Age Home for Seniors whom we will be supplying free vegetables.They are not far from our premises.
The organisation also attended a workshop organised by the City of Cape Town on food security.
