Khayelitsha,where Sijonge Kuwe Youth Development Project is based is growing rapidly and a fiber company by the name of Fibertime is installing fibre infrastructure for the poor communities of Khayelitsha and surrounding ares.This is a step in the right direction for our communities who were deprived of fibre network.This would give our communities digital communication all over the world.
Sijonge Kuwe Youth Development Project is continuing with its work of improving the quality of life of our people through self-employment and job creation.
25 youths,women and people with disabilities were trained in beads work,business skills training and 8 youths were also trained on how to use computers.
37 businesses were counselled on How to draw up a business plan,cashflow Statement,Record Keeping,Marketing and Tendering.
