To celebrate SITAWI's 8 years, we organized an event on July 14th in our new office in Rio de Janeiro, with themed talks on Finance for Good in Brazil. Following, we had a happy hour to celebrate our anniversary. Check the photos from this event and others.
SITAWI and the State Government of Ceará have signed the first contract to structure a Social Impact Bond in Brazil, a social results payment mechanism. The initiative was supported by Social Finance UK, a partner that was the first organization to develop this instrument, and had initial support from the Inter-American Development Bank. This first project will focus on the Health sector.
