SITAWI will manage SouMinasGerais Fund for Mariana dam disaster victims
Caetano Veloso, Criolo, Jota Quest and other singers joined on December 8th , in Belo Horizonte, a fundraising event to support the victims of Samarco’s dam in Mariana, Minas Gerais. The whole #SouMinasGerais concert revenue will be directed to a philanthropic fund called SouMinasGerais, managed by SITAWI.

Loans to housing transformation in Rocinha – Rio de Janeiro
SITAWI celebrates another Socio-environmental Loan with an special touch. The project developed by Inova Urbis will take place in Rocinha, Rio de Janeiro, near SITAWI’s headquarters. The project proposes a consultancy conceived to improve the lives of the community inhabitants aiming for more comfort, security and better sanitary conditions.
SITAWI joins the GIFE network
SITAWI officially joined the GIFE network (Institutions, Foundations and Companies Group). “This is a major step to reinforce the strategical partnership system with social transformation players and catalysts. We hope to make a contribution with our expertise in Finance for Good, impact investing and socially responsible finances with the certainty that the exchange with GIFE and its other associates will be highly enriching”, said Leonardo Letelier, SITAWI’s CEO and founder.
Social Impact Business Marathon – RJ
Promoted by SEBRAE RJ with SITAWI’s support, the Marathon took place between November 12th and 15th, as part of Entrepreneur Fair in Rio de Janeiro. There were more than 100 inscribed and 53 participating projects. Education, healthcare and culture came up as the most discussed subjects, but the award highlights were about minority empowering businesses.
