IRRI2015 Results :: Managing Director Gustavo Pimentel elected world’s Best Social-Environmental Analyst and SITAWI makes the Global Top10 in the largest independent survey of responsible investing - IRRI2015.
New fund :: SITAWI and Ellen Macarthur Foundation have developed a fund to promote the CE100 Brazil program. The British foundation was established in 2010 with the aim of accelerating the transition to the circular economy, regenerative and restorative by design, making it a global thought leader. The CE100 Brazil program was launched in October, 2015, and it is the national satellite for the global program.
Finance for Forestry :: Sustainable finance consultant Fred Seifert spoke in Washington, DC about his analysis of the impact of World Bank’s projects in the state of Pará at a seminar organized by Bank Information Center that gathered representatives from civil society in a number of countries to discuss the World Bank’s Forest Action Plan.
Girl Power :: 2016 has arrived with new members on our team at SITAWI. Patrícia Herkenhoff has joined the sustainable finance team as an ASG researcher and Cristine Pavoni will work with the social finance team as a senior consultant. The SITAWI team is now made up of eight men and nine women divided between our offices in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo. But it doesn’t stop there! Our team is growing and we are hiring.
