We are happy to announce that the 5th edition of the TOP 500 NGOs pointed SITAWI as one of the most influential social organizations in the world! For the first time on the contest, SITAWI reached the 6th place in Brazil, 8th in Latin America and the 130th in the global ranking.
“This result reflects the effort of SITAWI, over the years, in becoming a reference in efficiency and innovation in the Social Sector in Brazil. We are very happy and eager to continue acting on our mission,” commented Marianna Abreu, from the Relationship team.
The ranking surveys, evaluates and classifies the best practices and ideas in the social sector, highlighting the innovation, the impact and the different ways of action. According to the NGO Advisor, the “tripod” impact, innovation and sustainability is essential in the work developed by a social organization.
The 2016 edition was considered the most contested, with organizations more and more influential, powerful and innovative. Were analyzed 10 general indicators of each organization and 165 indicators in details. SITAWI stood out for its transparency and accountability with the audited results which may be checked here.
The TOP 500 NGO is an exclusive ranking of non-profit organizations from different parts of the world that combines evidence-based quantitative analysis with qualitative research.
