Project Report: Empowering School Children Through Soap Making and Entrepreneurship
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all our generous supporters and the team at globalgiving for standing with us in empowering vulnerable children and communities through practical skills development.
Through your support, our project has so far received $126, which has greatly contributed to the successful training of school children, young mothers, and community members in both solid and liquid soap making using affordable and locally available materials.
The funds have helped us to:
Purchase training materials and soap-making supplies.
Conduct practical hands-on training sessions.
Produce final soap products for community use.
Distribute soap products to 20 households, where families are now happily using locally made hygiene products.
Beyond improving hygiene and sanitation, this initiative is also creating opportunities for income generation and entrepreneurship among participants. School children are gaining valuable vocational skills while learning the importance of teamwork, responsibility, and financial sustainability.
The project is also laying a strong foundation for a student-led SACCO, which will help vulnerable children access school supplies, support school fees, and build a culture of saving and economic empowerment.
