Thanks to the generosity of our supporters and the GlobalGiving community, our soap-making project continues to create positive change in the lives of vulnerable children and families. The $126 raised so far has enabled us to purchase essential materials, organize practical training sessions, and produce both liquid and solid soap.
During the training, school children, young mothers, and community members learned how to make quality soap using affordable, locally available ingredients. Participants were also introduced to basic business management, record keeping, customer care, and marketing skills that can help them establish small income-generating activities.
The soap produced during the training was distributed to 20 households, helping families improve hygiene, reduce the spread of diseases, and lower household expenses. Community members have expressed appreciation for the products and the knowledge gained through the project.
This initiative is helping participants develop confidence, practical skills, and a spirit of entrepreneurship. We remain committed to strengthening the children's SACCO so that future income from soap sales can support vulnerable learners with educational materials and school-related expenses. Thank you for making this impact possible.
