We are delighted to share another update on the impact of your support. Through GlobalGiving, we have received $126 that has enabled us to train children, young mothers, and community members in practical soap-making skills.
The training focused on producing quality liquid and solid soap using affordable and locally available materials. Participants learned production techniques, hygiene standards, and basic business skills that can help them market and sell their products.
As a result of the training, soap products were distributed to 20 households, improving sanitation and promoting healthy living. Several participants have expressed interest in starting small businesses using the skills they acquired through the project.
