We are delighted to share another encouraging milestone from the Good Cause Foundation's One Child, One Future: Educate to Liberate project.
The Children’s Soap SACCO continues to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our learners. Through this initiative, children produce and sell liquid soap, save part of the proceeds, and use their savings to purchase essential scholastic materials such as exercise books, pens, pencils, and other classroom supplies.
This initiative is doing much more than supporting education. It is also helping children develop a culture of saving, financial responsibility, teamwork, and entrepreneurship from an early age. Most importantly, because the children actively make and use the soap, they are promoting good hygiene practices both at school and within their families and communities.
One learner shared:
"Before joining the Soap SACCO, I sometimes struggled to get exercise books. Now I can save money from our soap project and buy my own school materials. I also encourage my family to wash their hands regularly with the soap we make."
Your generous support has made this possible. By investing in children's education and practical life skills, you are helping them become confident, responsible, and self-reliant young leaders.
On behalf of the children, teachers, and the entire Good Cause Foundation team, thank you for believing in our mission. Together, we are creating brighter futures—one child at a time.
