At Idea Dignidad we develop a person-centered care model through legal and psychosocial support. Our goal is that at the end of the intervention the person feels: Restored to their rights; Not discriminated; Autonomous and empowered; More resilient. We provide sponsorship and legal and therapeutic accompaniment to victims of violence and in situations of violations of human rights and discrimination.
We invite you to read some of the testimonies of the surviving women we have accompanied in therapy and in their legal processes.
Lucy:
-What do you take away from this process?
- “Confidence, joy, I am focused, I ask myself things and I already have answers, I learned to know who I am.”
Mayra:
"Today I feel with new energy, I have learned to accept myself too, now I let myself be carried away by my intuition."
In addition to accompanying women for their recovery and empowerment. It is also essential to train State servants so that they can provide specialized care for victims of gender-based violence. Below you can read the testimonies of the people who participate in the House of Women in the city of Manta:
"I learned the importance of providing empathy to users who suffer any type of violence" "I learned to unlearn those myths and beliefs about sexuality, childhood, victims of gender-based violence"
Thank you for your unconditional support
