In January 2024, MUNAFA, our social microfinance program in Sierra Leone, opened its 6th branch in Moyamba. Nearly one year later, this branch is already supporting 971 micro-entrepreneurs, mostly farmers, in their efforts to grow their businesses and improve their family's living conditions. We have provided each of them with:
It’s important to know that in Sierra Leone, 90% of the active population works in the informal economy. For those living in slums or remote rural areas, creating their own business is a matter of survival.
MUNAFA aims to help as many of these people as possible succeed in their endeavors, to transform their children’s daily lives and open up their future.
Right now, many people are still waiting to join this program. If we manage to reach our fundraising goal together, we will be able to welcome 40 of them. And behind every entrepreneur, there is an entire family hoping for change!
40 entrepreneurs = 300 people whose lives will change!
On this Giving Tuesday, the global day of solidarity, we are calling on your generosity to support these courageous entrepreneurs. Every donation counts, and every contribution makes a difference in the lives of families in Sierra Leone. Donate and spread the word.
Together, let’s cross the finish line of our fundraising campaign!
