We have great news!

Dear friends and supporters of Revoar,

Following the Dragon Dreaming methodology, in this report we would like to share with you some dreams, plans, achievements and celebrations!

Starting with the celebration, we share with you some news that we received in April and that made us very happy for being a recognition of our work: Revoar was one of three Brazilian social organizations to win a large international donation from the @riotgames Social Impact Fund, which selected organizations from the GlobalGiving platform. These resources will allow us to carry out several projects with educators and young people throughout this year, and also in 2024, contributing to the quality of education and to the socio-emotional development and mental health of students in situations of social vulnerability.

In June and July, we carried out a project with young students with the aim of supporting them in making a conscious decision about which career to follow. This was based on a process of self-knowledge which involved looking at their dreams, strengths, values, and interests, and discussing possible careers, today and in the future. It was a process carried out in virtual format, focused on 15 adolescents and lasting 12 hours. The Course had positive results, contributing to the future of the participants.

In this month of August, we are completing our planning process and are about to start an introductory course of our Educators in Connection training that will last until September. It will be a free online training course with four live meetings, focused on the emotional development and mental health of educators from social education organizations.

In addition to individual development, this course aims to discuss how educators can intentionally include this knowledge in their activities with adolescents and young people participating in social organizations. We had a lot of interest, with 85 people from organizations working in the field of education in Brazil registering for the course.

Offering this training to other organizations, which, like Revoar, work for the quality of education in Brazil, is an old dream that, with the contributions we have received, we will now be able to fulfill.

We appreciate the support of each person who contributes to our work and to the improvement of education in Brazil, valuing the mental health of educators and adolescents.
