Celebrating our accomplishments in 2023!

In this second semester, with support from the international donation that Instituto Revoar received from the @riotgames Social Impact Fund and GlobalGiving, we worked with 81 educators from all over Brazil and collaborated with several Brazilian civil society organizations.

With this donation, which is a recognition of the work that the Revoar Institute has been carrying out for six years, we carried out two training courses with the aim of sharing and multiplying our knowledge with other organizations that work in the field of education.

Between the months of August and October, we held two editions of our “Educadores em Conexão” course, which aims to train professionals to carry out socio-emotional education in their social projects.

The 81 participants were invited to look at themselves, at their own socio-emotional skills, at their dreams, stories, feelings, values and also to look at the young women they serve in their projects, seeking to understand and reassess their ways of establishing connection, empathy and acceptance.

We believe that the first step towards socio-emotional education is for educators to look at themselves, and it is through the methodology we developed that we invite these educators to personally experience socio-emotional development. This is the basis of socio-emotional education. In addition to the experience, we also propose reflection, conceptual and practical presentations, building a process so that participants can bring socio-emotional development to their lives and to the lives of their beneficiaries.

The results of these two courses were very relevant. The training was rated as VERY GOOD by 100% of the participants, and 100% of them also said that the training REACHED OR EXCEEDED their expectations. Still 100% would recommend the training to other education professionals. We are pleased to share more results with you below, in our Results Report from these two processes, that show how our work can reach more people.

In 2024, we will continue to carry out more projects with young people and educators, continuing our mission with education in Brazil, promoting human development that values the socio-emotional development and mental health of educators and adolescents.
