Solar Gifts: INLIGHT Panama Communities

Over the past several months, INNOBUC has been focusing its efforts on advancing initiatives that promote sustainability at both the environmental and community levels. One of our key projects has been the development of community-based tourism programs in the provinces of Colón, Coclé, and Panamá Oeste. These efforts are carried out in close collaboration with local governments, the private sector, and local artisans, ensuring that diverse voices are part of the process.

Through this project, we aim to create opportunities that allow communities to strengthen their local economies by showcasing their cultural heritage, artisanal products, and natural resources. At the same time, we emphasize the importance of building tourism practices that are environmentally responsible and socially inclusive. This dual focus helps generate income for families while fostering a deeper appreciation for conservation and cultural identity.

In parallel, our INLIGHT initiative continues to expand as part of our broader commitment to sustainability. INLIGHT provides clean energy solutions, such as solar lamps, to communities in need. This not only contributes to environmental care by promoting renewable energy, but also directly supports economic and social development by enabling families, students, and entrepreneurs to carry out their daily activities in safer and more efficient ways.

Together, these projects reflect INNOBUC’s vision of sustainability as an integrated approach—one that connects environmental protection with economic opportunity and social well-being.
