Meet Balusa. Balusa lives in Kamawornie - a village is located at Sella Limba Chiefdom, Bombali District, Northern Province.
In the included photo you can see her proudly showing us her new D-light solar light.
Kamawornie is a remote village and unfortunately has no access to electricity.
Balusa was delighted to receive a solar light. This light will be an invaluable asset to her as it will enable her study time at night. No more reading using a hazardous kerosene lantern. This light will also help light up her home at night.
This simple intervention will help improve her grades.
Her family sends their appreciation to you for helping to brighten their world.
Please join us in continuing to provide solar power and technology to more students, like Balusa. We encourage you to start a monthly recurring donation here. Even a few dollars a month will go a long way. Please also share this with your contacts and invite them to consider supporting this ongoing project.
If you have any questions, please feel free to email us at GlobalGiving@developafrica.org.
With deep appreciation
