The hospital in Syan Ywar Thit sub-township is located in the village not accessible during the rainy season. Waiting for the completion of the hospital construction work, BHN installed solar electric systems in Feb. 2015.
The road condition to the sub-township has been improved substantiaqlly since 2013 when we first visited there, however, there still remain many small rivers without bridges to reach the sub-township. Tha hospital is composed of many buildings;main building, doctors' houses, employees' houses, etc. and all of these buildings and houses are now equipped with solar electricity. BHN also installed LED lamps and a radio telephone set there.
Doctors of the hospital will move around for diagnosis to small villages without any telephone connection. Hence, BHN installed special radio telephone sets in such 7 villages to get connected with the hospital and make consultation with doctors.
Succeeding to the hospital, BHN installed another solar electricity systems in the high school of Hpa Pya village located far in the south of Kayin(Karen) state.
