Every child deserves the opportunity to learn in a safe, supportive and well-lit environment. Unfortunately, many children in rural Uganda attend schools where access to reliable electricity remains a major challenge.
When classrooms and study spaces are poorly lit, children can struggle to read, revise and complete their schoolwork, especially after sunset.
We want to help change this reality.
Our Solar Schools Uganda project is raising funds to provide solar energy and lighting to schools in rural communities. By harnessing the power of the sun, we can help schools access clean and sustainable energy while creating better opportunities for children.
Your Donation Can Make a Difference
Your support can help provide:
Solar panels and power systems
Energy-efficient school lighting
Better spaces for reading and revision
Improved learning environments
Clean and sustainable energy for schools
The impact of your donation can extend far beyond a single light. A brighter classroom can encourage children to read. Better study conditions can strengthen learning. A school with reliable solar power can create opportunities for both learners and teachers.
This is an investment in education, opportunity and the future of rural communities.
We invite you to stand with us and help bring solar power to schools that need it most.
No contribution is too small. Every donation brings us one step closer to lighting another classroom and reaching another child.
Let's move rural schools from darkness to opportunity.
Donate to our GlobalGiving solar project today and help us light schools, empower children and build brighter futures in Uganda.
