Let There Be Light: Give Rural Children a Chance t

For a child, a few extra hours of light can mean a few extra hours of learning. Yet in many rural schools in Uganda, limited access to reliable electricity makes studying after daylight difficult.

We believe that every child deserves a learning environment where darkness does not stand between them and their education.

Through our solar project, we are seeking support to bring solar lighting to rural schools and help children study with greater ease, safety and confidence.

Solar power can provide schools with a dependable source of clean energy while creating better conditions for reading, revision, homework and other educational activities.
