Hi Appropriate Technology Collaborators!

We've got a big fundraising opportunity Today Tuesday, April 14 and we need your help!

Please Donate Early - Donations Made Early Are Most Likely to Get The Microsoft 50% Match.

Your early donations also help us receive donations from other organizations that fund GlobalGiving.

Microsoft YouthSpark is matching donations made from 9am EST to midnight, or until funds run out.   Last year many of you generous supporters helped us reach $6,270 in one big push, keeping our Mayan Power and Light women's empowerment classes and our electrical circuits and solar classes open to the public.

And with matching donations from Microsoft, your donations will go even further.
I'm hoping you can help us keep the momentum to do it again this year.
Mayan Power and Light is up and growing, with 2 women's solar businesses in operation and more on the way. Our new grassroots AppTech project with the "Bee Boys" is ready to implement,  we just need $2,500 to train 15 self-motivated rural youth in carpentry, welding, advanced beekeeping and business.
Right now,  we are feeling a sense of urgency in getting funding for the "Bee Boys" Honey Cooperative as we are scheduled to start their training program on June 27

I hope you can help provide important technical training to Mayan rural youth by making a donation of any amount to one of our YouthSpark programs (Mayan Power and Light or the Bee Boys).

Please also share your intentions to donate with your work friends, social network, friends, anyone you like. Word of mouth is so important for people to know the impact of their donations.

To Do:

1. Set your cell phone alarms for Today at 9:00am EST to ensure your donation received matching funds.
2. Go to the links below to pick your favorite ATC YouthSpark Project:

Clearly, I really care about making these empowering programs available to my young friends around Lake Atitlan. If there is anything I can do to bring these communities' stories closer to you I'd love to have a conversation with you.

Many thanks for your continued support, we send you all our best wishes from Guatemala.
