We got lucky!
A foreign-owned solar company in Guatemala came to Quetzaltenango to discuss how to win and maintain new clients in solar energy. Citing the importance of growing public awareness of the solar power solution, Linda-the-Trainer indicated how important it is for solar companies to support each other in improving public perception of solar power to grow a sustainable energy economy.
No one solar company can provide for all of Guatemala's energy needs, so creating alliances across businesses is strategic for enhancing the movement towards sustainble infrastructure development.
Now these two solar companies can collaborate to import quality products affordably, share best practices, and refer clients appropriately.
Thanks to our Globalgiving donors for funding the first of 6 business development workshops this summer! We've got 5 more to go!
Can you chip in a little more? Mayan Power and Light is approved for 60% matching funds from the Globalgiving Renewable Energy Campaign.
Now is the time to set up our sustainable infrastructure!
