Project Report | Oct 12, 2023
Bridging the Gap

By Danielle Webster | Member of Board of Directors

Throughout the years SOSA has brought a myriad of topics to our students, from gene editing, to climate change. As 2023 nears the end, SOSA will be shifting its focus to the educators in our community to further amplify our reach. This October, we will be “Bridging the Gap” between teachers in the US and Jamaica. Cutting edge fields such as artificial intelligence (“AI”) and Climate Science will be highlighted, with the goal of exposing our students early to cross-cultural opportunities in STEM education. We aim to have teachers take this knowledge back to their classrooms, while building global connections that facilitate continued STEM promotion and development.

Look out for our updates on SOSA “Bridging the Gap”! We can’t wait to share this new experience with you!
