The snow and freezing temperatures have set in for the country of Romania, and for the cats and kittens. Romania Animal Rescue is alleviating the birth of more cats and kittens that would eventually, possibly next year, have to endure these weather conditions on the streets.
In Iasi, Romania's second largest city, our ongoing free spay/neuter program for cats is the only one if its kind. The cats are brought in by their owners and / or protectors to be fixed and then they are taken home to recuperate. These animals will no longer give birth to potentially thousands of others, thanks to you!
In the city of Craiova, the Christmas is for Cats campaign provided the free spay/neuter for 100 cats in December. In Tecuci, Moreni, Suceava, cats were sterilized during our spayathon campaigns.
Romania Animal Rescue is now approaching 24,000 free spays/neuters for both cats and dogs in Romania. We hope to reach 25,000 in the not too distant future!
Neuter or Spay! No More Strays! No More Abandonment, Suffering, Disease or Starvation of Unwanted Animals.
Please help us to end the cycle of suffering with a donation, and thank you!
