Greetings and Happy New Year Friends!
The New Year has entered with a new documentary from Romania Animal Rescue about the spay and neuter need in Romania and a few of the challenges we face. We invite you to be a part of our journey as we push on to see to it that fewer animals will ever know suffering by being born into a world that cannot provide for them.
Our video can be found here: https://youtu.be/B-op61wk1KA
All hands were on deck these past months at Center of Hope, Family Vet Clinic, HOPE spaymobile and with our Spay Shuttle. This infrastructure enables us to effectively run campaigns in many areas and coordinate under various circumstances.
In other news, the numbers of spays and neuters for 2019 are in! 7714 animals were spayed and neutered in 2019, making a total of 79,498 spays and neuters! Your help has been instrumental in making sure we can help the poorest of rescuers and strays get the spays and neuters that would otherwise not be available. This number has decreased from our goal of 9000 - 10000 a year from previous years. We hope to be able to do more life-saving spays in 2020 with your support. We are confident that spay and neuter is the real solution.
Our New Year resolution is actually a wish....to provide more spays and neuters to continue to help stop the birth of abandoned animals.
