Greetings Friends,
Romania Animal Rescue has been extremely busy with our Spayathons. At a recent campaign, the local police helped by going door to door explaining to the villagers that the law requires spay/neuter for mixed breed dogs, with a hefty fine for non-compliance. This is the first time in Romania that police have become involved to help with a Spayathon, and we hope it's the first of many such actions.
We are celebrating 101,544 spays and neuters as of April 30!
When you consider that by spaying one you can potentially save 100 pups from ever being born, this is a massive achievement....that could not have been done without our loyal donors.

RAR does campaigns at Center of Hope (Bucharest area) , Family Vet (Craiova area), as well as running mobile campaigns to reach rural villages that have no means of help for their animals. We also run the Spay Shuttle that transports animals from small villages to the Center of Hope for spay/neuter and veterinary care.
