The Romania Animal Rescue was asked to help in a small town, Buhusi, Romania with a spay/neuter campaign. You see there is no vet in Buhusi that is capable of spaying animals. We knew we had to get to Buhusi to help if we could.
We began by sending educational booklets to a local teacher, Babi, who began an education campaign in her school. Once the community learned the importance of spaying and neutering, people began asking "When can RAR come to help us with spay/neuter?"
Thanks to support from people around the world such as yourselves, we could begin the process of starting a campaign to help animals of Buhusi.
The students from the community school were thrilled with the prospect of our coming to help the animals, and did a flashmob to advertise the arrival of Romania Animal Rescue to Buhusi!

Our vets were graciously welcomed into the town by the Mayor, and were able to spay/neuter 156 animals.
We have been asked to return to Buhusi once again for more spay/neuter campaigns...and we are planning the next trip in September!
Thanks to you....spay and neuter is helping in Buhusi many other cities and towns in Romania!
