Dear Supporters,
As you may have heard, the new law was voted in Romania stating that all strays will be taken into custody and if not adopted, killed. This is not quite as it sounds.....the dogs are taken into public prison shelters where they are crammed together and often starved. Many of these so-called "shelters" are not allowing visitors to adopt the animals.
This cycle will continue with no end in sight unless spay/neuter is done to prevent the birth of animals that are abandoned onto the streets and forests. We urge you to please help us to spay/neuter as many animals as possible.
Without spay/neuter, the impoverished citizens of Romania have 2 choices:
1. Kill the unwanted pups or 2. Abandon them to the streets and forests
The Romania Animal Rescue urges citizens to bring their animals in for free spay/neuter by our excellent vet team, but we cannot do this without your help and donation.
Please help us stop this cycle of suffering.
Thank you!
Nancy Janes, Romania Animal Rescue and Animal Spay Neuter International
