Dear Friends of the Animals,

I would like to introduce you to HOPE, our newly acquired mobile clinic!   HOPE will allow us to travel to peasant villages where there are no  veterinarians, so that we may address locally the spaying and neutering ( as well as veterinary care)  for  animals cared for by extremely impoverished citizens.

Here is the report from our Veterinary Director, Dr. Aurelian Stefan, on HOPE's first mission:

"Animals in the villages in Romania have no access to vet care and this is why we thought of a Spaymobil to reach the dogs in need. Today we took Hope to the country 120 km away from Craiova in a village called Bacalesti. Team was to meet two volunteers that will show us the way there. Our target was to spay all the dogs at an elderly lady's property.  It was 38 degrees Celcius in the blazing sun and the spay Mobil acted as the best shade ever ( big big car ) so we prepped the dogs outside and operated inside . One by one the village people gathered to see what was happening in their little village . We convinced two of them to let us neuter their dogs and one of them got a new collar when we insisted dog badly needed a new collar. We managed to operate 18 dogs and one cat today and it was such a great day. All dogs are fine and now more relaxed . Biggest news they will never reproduce so that there will be a fixed number of mouths to feed this summer in the yard. God bless all people that donate towards such a great project."

HOPE joins the Dream Team that already holds spayathons throughout Romania.  To date RAR has spayed and neutered now 36,000 animals in Romania. Our work is based on the solid principles of :  Spay and Neuter, Veterinary Care, Veterinary Training, Education, and Food.  These are the roots of our work with the goal being "Neuter or Spay, No More Strays".  No more animals that will be born to suffer, to be abandoned due to lack of resources, to be captured and put into prison shelters.   This is the Dream and Goal of our charity.   And now we have HOPE.

Your donation of $25 will allow us to spay or neuter a dog with HOPE.   There is a saying in Romania, "Hope dies last".   Now we have more hope than ever to be able to reach more and more people who want to do right by their animals.

Thank you for your help and support!
