On July 30th 4 Patas de Puro Amor, a local animal welfare group run entirely by Costa Ricans, conducted a spay/neuter clinic in San Ramon paid for with donations to Animal Welfare through Global Giving. The barrio where the clinic was held is extremely poor - some of the people's homes are made from cardboard - and the residents were very appreciative. Forty dogs and cats were spayed or neutered at the amazing price of $14 each, and we would like to go back to the same barrio for another clinic as more donations are raised.
Heartfelt thanks to our donors for making what we do possible. This clinic would not have been held without your generous contributions.
