We are pleased to share the meaningful impact made possible by your generous donations this reporting period. Our focus has been on addressing both urgent individual needs and building long-term institutional capacity for children with special needs. A primary achievement was facilitating critical medical assessments for seven special needs students, whose urgent assessment reports were essential for securing their formal admission into appropriate educational settings. This intervention removed a significant bureaucratic and financial barrier, ensuring these children can access their right to education without delay. Alongside this direct support, we provided vital funding to a local partner organization dedicated to providing specialized assessments and ongoing therapy, amplifying our collective reach and impact within the community.
Our commitment extends beyond immediate needs to fostering sustainable development. We have proudly partnered with the Donattar School for Special Needs under a collaborative EU-funded project, contributing to essential skills training for students and crucial upgrades to the school's physical facilities. Building on this momentum, we are now channeling your support into an exciting new initiative: the establishment of a specialized IT room at the Donattar School. This project aims to bridge the digital divide, providing students with access to adaptive technology, educational software, and digital literacy skills that are fundamental for learning, communication, and future independence. This room will serve as a transformative hub for interactive education and cognitive development.
These strategic activities—from clearing immediate admissions hurdles to investing in lasting infrastructure—reflect our holistic approach to supporting the special needs community. Each step, whether funding a therapy session or installing a computer, is a building block towards greater inclusion, opportunity, and dignity for these remarkable children. We are deeply grateful for the trust you have placed in us. Your continued support is directly empowering students, strengthening vital institutions, and helping to create a more equitable and supportive environment where every child can learn, grow, and thrive. We look forward to sharing the transformative outcomes of the new IT room in our next update.
