Thanks so much for your continued support to Sphoorti Foundation through campaigns on GlobalGiving. This campaign has been very valuable for the welfare of our girl children.
In the last three months, we were able to do the following activities.
1. We distributed clothes to more than 100 girl children. Some of the girls included those from underprivileged families staying in the neighborhood of Sphoorti.
2, We distributed dicitionaries to more than 5000 girl children during January and February in different government schools in 7 districts of Telangana.
3. We provided sanitary napkins to more than 100 girl children from nearby communities.
Three of our children - Renu, Jyothi and Durga won prizes in Anveshana, a Science Fair organized by Agastya Foundation in Hyderabad.
Two girl children Mona and Renu won National Merit cum Means Scholarship conducted for Government School children.
With your support, we will strive to churn out more success stories in future.
