Good food for Girls

Dear friends,

Thank you very much for your support to the Project "Emancipation of the Girl Child Through Education" Project over the last 2 years.

Our precious girl children are doing good, have been busy lately with studies - preparing for their Annual examinations.\ which start in 2 weeks from now.

This year Sphoorti has been supporting 98 girls and 109 boys. Children between 5 and 15 are in our new Sphoorti campus. They go to Government run Primary School (Sri Rangavaram Village) and Secondary School (Gowdavally village) in Medchal district. More than 20 girls are in different residential colleges in Hyderabad. 8 children are in Degree College and one is in Engineering College pursuing Aeronautical Engg. One student completed her Polytechnic and is appearing for admission test into Engineering.

10 girls will appear for STD X Board examinations in March. 15 children will appear for Intermediate examinations.

In the recent Annual Day celebrations, our children received 63 prizes.

More than 10 students stood among the toppers in their respective classes in the Half Yearly examinations.

Since November 2016, our children participated in various events like New Year celebrations, Republic Day celebrations and Science Fair in Krushi Home

Our Campus construction work is almost coming to an end. We recently got sponsors for Library, Computer Lab, Sickroom and Kitchen.

During June-July, we are planning to add another 40 girl children to our Campus and slowly convert the current campus into Girls-only campus.
