As part of the La Magia del Juego project, the children in the childcare centers immersed themselves in a world of exploration and learning using everyday materials such as tubes, screws, and cardboard boxes. What might seem simple to many transformed into a universe full of possibilities, where creativity and discovery took center stage.
Judith found a source of joy in tapping the tubes, creating rhythms that awakened her auditory perception and allowed her to identify musical patterns. With each tap, she was not only exploring sounds but also her ability to connect actions with results.
Liam, for his part, faced the challenge of fitting tubes of different sizes together, an exercise that strengthened his fine motor skills and taught him the value of asking for help when needed. This simple act of collaboration turned into a lesson on the importance of teamwork and celebrating shared achievements.
Amanda, with her innate curiosity, observed the holes in the tubes, trying to understand their shape and purpose, while Dael discovered how to amplify his voice by speaking through them. This experiment not only gave him a new way to communicate but also allowed him to explore how his environment could respond to his creativity.
Each activity was a doorway to learning, where the children could experiment and learn, demonstrating that the true value of these materials lies in the opportunities they create for growth and discovery.
