By Peggy Arias Brenes | Project Leader
During classroom activities, children spent time playing and working together, which helped strengthen friendship and respect among the group. Through these shared moments, they had the opportunity to interact, help one another, and learn side by side.
In everyday activities, children practice important social skills such as sharing materials, listening to their classmates, expressing their feelings, and solving small conflicts with the support of their teachers. These moments help them understand each other better and develop empathy.
The friendships that grow in the classroom also create a sense of trust and belonging. Feeling part of the group helps children build confidence and feel safe as they face new experiences and challenges.
Through activities like these, children are not only learning new things, but also developing the emotional and social skills that will support them as they continue to grow.
