Lorenzo Book has been a very useful tool for teaching children about the life and care that a person with hearing problems requires. Many times, in their ignorance about hearing problems and the little guidance they receive from their elders, tend to alienate fellows who suffer them.
Seeking to create a more friendly and comprehensive environment for them, we have made a distribution of 650 copies of the Lorenzo Book to date. But! much remains to be done. We want to reach out more families, through kindergartens and schools, as a first step to make the subject of the hearing problems visible and then, provide support to children’s centers so they can provide an adequate teaching of them.
We want to thank you for your participation in this process because it is not an easy task to raise awareness about such invisible problems, but thanks to the people who want a better environment for our children and believe in the project, we know that we are on the right path.
