Hands for Charity continues to expand its Orphan Sponsorship Program in Lebanon, providing consistent support to children who have lost a parent and are living in extremely difficult economic conditions. Through monthly sponsorships, orphaned children receive assistance that helps cover essential needs such as food, education, healthcare, and daily living expenses. This ongoing support helps bring stability and dignity to vulnerable children and their families during a time of prolonged hardship in Lebanon.
Today, Hands for Charity sponsors more than 3,800 orphans across multiple countries, with Lebanon representing one of the organization’s key areas of support. In 2025, a delegation from Canada also visited Lebanon to meet some of the sponsored orphans. The visit provided an opportunity to witness the program’s impact firsthand and strengthen the connection between donors and the children they support.
Beyond orphan sponsorship, Hands for Charity’s broader humanitarian efforts in Lebanon—including food assistance, winter relief, and refugee support—have benefited more than 26,000 people in 2025. Together, these initiatives reflect the organization’s continued commitment to supporting vulnerable communities and helping children grow in a safer and more hopeful environment.
