For 25 years Coaniquem BCF has been changing the lives of burned children in Latin and south America. These children have to overcome enormous medical, mental and social obstacles to thrive! Coaniquem does just that! At this time, we have helped more than 14000 children live life to the fullest! So to celebrate we are having a 25th Anniversary Celebration fundraiser…the Fiesta Afloat.
On October 1, 2023, the Hornblower Empress will set sail from the Berkeley Marina at noon into San Francisco Bay for an unforgettable 3 hour event filled with breathtaking views, delicious food, and the opportunity to make a difference. We have access to all three decks on this wonderful ship. After a welcome sparkling wine, a buffet lunch will be served during the unforgettable cruise experience around San Francisco Bay… all while supporting a great cause. There will also be an onboard silent auction. The cost will be $130 per person and we hope to raise over $10,000.
Flying in from Chile for the occasion will be the founder of COANIQUEM, Dr. Jorge Rojas. He will be joined by his lovely Maria Esther and the new Director of International Affairs, Alan Mackern.
Coaniquem BCF is also raising contributions from select Rotary Clubs in the US. We hope to raise enough to finance the purchase of $50,000 worth of specialized medical equipment to help supply the four Coaniquem Clinics in Chile…located in Antofagasta, Santiago, Concepcion and Puerto Mont.
