Since the last update, this sponsorship project continues to reflect the urgent and ongoing needs of orphans and families who have lost their breadwinner in Lebanon. While the level of support received so far remains limited compared to the scale of need, the reality faced by widowed mothers and their children grows more severe as the economic crisis deepens, leaving many families struggling to secure food, education, and medical care.
For these families, sponsorship represents far more than financial assistance. It is a lifeline that helps a mother keep her children in school, afford basic necessities, and preserve a sense of dignity amid overwhelming hardship. Children who risk malnutrition or dropping out of school rely on this support to maintain stability and hold onto a future that feels increasingly uncertain.
Despite the challenges, the project remains firmly committed to its mission: standing beside orphans and breadwinner-less families and ensuring they are not left to face this crisis alone. With sustained sponsorship, vulnerable households can regain a sense of security, protect their children’s well-being, and begin rebuilding their lives with hope and resilience.
