Sponsorships for 200 Orphans In Gaza And Syria

Dear Supporters,

Thanks to the continued support of our donors, the Umut Organization team in northern Syria was able to help five new orphan children and provide financial sponsorships for them on your behalf. 

We convey to you with love and gratitude the deep feelings and great attitudes that we experienced with these heroic children who have passed their years and took responsibility early after losing their parents due to the war in Syria. 

Our first meeting was with the beautiful little boy Ibrahim, who helps his uncle in his small shop that sells junk and repairs household electrical appliances. He greeted us with his innocent looks and sweet words and explained to us some of the small jobs he does.

In the same place, we also met ten-year-old Hassan, who used to come to work on holidays to cover the expenses for his school supplies and bear some responsibility with his mother. Hassan has great self-confidence and a strong desire for success. 

On the second leg of our trip, we met the 13-year-old Murad, who works in a bicycle repair shop. Murad was a little tired and his little hands were full of grease. We spent some time with him while he was resting and drank tea together.

Our little tailor, Samer, was happy to meet us, and the smile did not leave his face.  Samer also lost his father in this war and now he works in a sewing workshop and is learning this profession that he loves. We talked to him about the possibility of returning to school and working on holidays and free time. 

Our last stop was with Muhammad, 14 years old, a conscious child who lives with his brothers in his grandfather’s house after the death of his father. Muhammad now works in a store selling car spare parts and car oils in Jarabulus.

Our esteemed donors, we thank you for your great support and continuing with us and enabling us to see these little heroes, help them, and hear their concerns and dreams, and we convey to you their great thanks and gratitude.

Dear Supporters,

Umut Organization team in the city of Jarabulus in northern Syria toured some workplaces where there are children to see their conditions and working conditions there. It is sad that many orphan children are forced to work, sometimes in working conditions that do not suit their age, in order to secure the life requirements of their families after the death of the father.

Thanks to your valuable donations, we were able to reach 5 children working in different professions and we provided financial sponsorship to them on your behalf.

Fourteen-year-old Yousef was forced to work in a small motorcycle repair shop. His little hands do difficult jobs that adults cannot do. He does this to secure food and drink for his mother and younger siblings. Youssef told us about his dream of completing his studies, his love for chemistry, and his hope of returning to school. We hope that your donation will be the first step on Youssef's path to returning to school and achieving his dream. 

We also met Muhammad, who is fifteen years old. Things were not much different here. Muhammad is also an orphan. He is the eldest of his brothers and works in the field of car mechanics, which is very hard work for a child of his age, but circumstances forced him to work, as is the case with Youssef. He also misses his school, his friends, and his teachers.

As for Anas, who is ten years old, he works in a small sandwich restaurant with his friend Maher.  The last stop was with Nour, the beautiful, calm child who works in a small grocery store for one of his relatives.

These children were very happy to meet us and receive your valuable help.
