Dear donors,
We would like to share with you in this brief report the positive impact that has been achieved thanks to your generous support and standing with our people in stricken Gaza.
Five new orphans were able to be reached by the Umut organization and to provide financial sponsorship for them on your behalf. First, we went to the house of the child Anas, who was smiling all the time and was very happy with our visit. Anas is 9 years old and is very diligent in his studies. He now lives with the family of his father, who was martyred in the recent aggression against Gaza. Anas loves mathematics very much and seeks to become a software engineer.
As for our second stop, it was with the little girl, Lynn, whose father was martyred due to the Israeli bombing, and she now lives with her family in her grandfather's house and takes care of her younger siblings. Lynn has completed her eleventh year of age, but when we talked to her, we felt that we were talking to a twenty-year-old girl. Lynn has high awareness, a strong inclination, and she is aware of everything that happens. around her. All the children of Gaza experience events and situations that adults cannot bear, which constantly refines their personality with factors of strength and will.
Two other children in this grief-stricken house also became orphans due to the Israeli targeting of the Gaza Strip: Aisha, Lynn’s ten-year-old sister, and Muhammad, her eight-year-old brother.This is what the homes of the people of Gaza have become. Unfortunately, no home is devoid of a widow or an orphan, and of pain and sadness.
Our last meeting was with the beautiful twelve-year-old Othman, who has a beautiful smile and high morals. Othman has patience like the patience of adults, awareness, strength, and satisfaction with God’s decree and destiny. The phrase “Alhamdulillah” did not leave his mouth throughout his conversation with us.
Dear donors, we would not have entered these generous homes without your generous and continuous support and your standing beside our oppressed people in wounded Gaza. We continue with you and grow with you. All thanks and appreciation to you from the beloved land of Palestine.
