Dear Donor,
“Is it in the sky?” This was the innocent question Maryam and Limar, two young orphaned sisters, asked again and again after their father was taken from them in a bombing in Syria. They longed to meet him once more, but the harsh reality of war has left them with only memories.
In a small, humble home in northern Syria, these two sisters live with their mother and two brothers, Issam and Khaled, who are not yet 15. With no father to provide, Issam and Khaled are forced to collect and sell plastic waste just to scrape together enough for their family to survive. Their daily struggle is a testament to the strength and resilience of these children, who carry the weight of the world on their young shoulders.
But because of heroes like you, Maryam and Limar now have a brighter future. Your generosity has allowed us to sponsor them, meet their needs, and lift some of the heavy burden from Khaled and Issam. Your kindness has made their lives a little easier, giving them a chance to focus on being children again, rather than just survivors.
You are not just helping a family; you are restoring hope, dignity, and a sense of security. Your compassion is truly making the world a more beautiful place.
With heartfelt thanks,
