Imagine the heartbreak of a child who, as they begin to understand the world around them, finds that their father is no longer there. This is the painful reality for little Karam, an orphan who lost her father in the bombing, leaving her childhood incomplete and her family without their only provider.
Karam lives in northern Syria with her mother and elderly grandmother in a house still under construction, barely suitable for living. Together, Karam and her mother collect plastic bottles to sell, just to keep hunger at bay.
But thanks to your incredible generosity, we’ve been able to step in and provide for Karam’s most urgent needs, ensuring her family has the essentials to survive. We are now working tirelessly to secure better housing for Karam and her family—a home where they can feel safe and rebuild their lives.
Karam still faces a long road ahead, and she needs someone like you to stand by her side. Your continued support can transform her future and give her the hope she so desperately deserves.
