Zohair, a bright and ambitious five-year-old, lives with his family in a rented house in the city of Al-Bab, northern Syria. Despite his young age, orphan Zohair dreams of becoming a doctor one day. Since the death of his father four years ago, his family has struggled with poverty, posing significant barriers to even the simplest of hopes.
