In the heart of the besieged Gaza Strip, where crises multiply and chances for survival grow slim, six-year-old orphaned Sherine lives with her mother and siblings in unbearable conditions, after losing her father in one of the airstrikes that shattered the lives of countless families.
Despite her young age, Sherine has begun to understand the harshness of life far too early. Like any child, she dreams of warm clothes, a safe room, and a toy to hold at night — but the reality in Gaza seldom allows children to dream. Her mother struggles daily to provide the bare minimum for her family, carrying a burden no one should bear alone.
Thanks to your generous support, we were able to provide financial sponsorship for Sherine, easing some of the pressure on her mother and helping to meet the child’s basic needs. This sponsorship offered hope to a little girl who has known only pain, and proved that there are kind hearts who care deeply for those in desperate need.
Your donation makes a true difference, and your continued support is the light we use to guide children's steps through the darkness of the blockade.
