In a small tent in one of the informal camps in rural Jarabulus, northern Syria, lives the orphaned child Masoud with his mother and elderly grandmother. The harsh conditions of displacement, extreme poverty, and the absence of a breadwinner have placed a heavy burden on this devastated family, who are struggling to survive in an unforgiving environment.

Masoud, who lost his father due to the war, now depends entirely on his mother, who does her best to provide for his most basic needs despite the challenges she faces. The grandmother, who is advanced in age and suffers from chronic illnesses, adds to the weight this small family must bear.

Thanks to your generous donations, we were able to provide a financial sponsorship for Masoud this month. This support helped his family secure essential needs such as food, clothing, and medicine.
