Dear Donor
Amid the dire humanitarian conditions faced by displaced families in northern Syria, Umut continues its efforts to support orphaned children and provide them with the means to endure these harsh circumstances. Among those children is Yusuf, who lost his father due to the war and now lives with his mother and three siblings in Ataa Camp, located in the countryside of Jarablus, northern Syria.
The family is struggling to meet their basic needs, relying entirely on humanitarian aid for food, clothing, and daily essentials. In this context, we are pleased to report that a monthly financial sponsorship was distributed to Yusuf, helping his family cover their essential living expenses.
This support brought much-needed relief to Yusuf’s mother, who expressed her deep gratitude to everyone who contributed to this generous initiative. She emphasized that the aid came at a critical time when the family was in desperate need of assistance.
At Umut, we believe that caring for orphans is not just about temporary aid—it is a long-term responsibility that helps build a safer and more just future for these children. That is why we renew our call for your continued support, ensuring the sustainability of these sponsorships and extending help to more vulnerable children.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to all who helped bring a smile to Yusuf’s face and to everyone who walks with us on this noble path.
Together, we make a difference.
