In Ataa Camp, located in the countryside of Jarabulus in northern Syria, nine-year-old Basma lives with her mother and siblings in a tent that offers little protection from the harsh cold of winter or the scorching heat of summer. Basma is an orphan—she lost her father during the brutal years of war, leaving her mother as the sole provider for the family.
The loss of her father created a deep void—not only emotionally but also financially. The family struggles to secure even the most basic needs like food, clothing, and school supplies. In the midst of this hardship, your financial sponsorship came as a lifeline extended at just the right time.
Thanks to your generous support, we were able to provide Basma with a monthly financial sponsorship that helped her mother cover essential expenses such as food and clothing. It eased some of the heavy burden she carries each day. This sponsorship was not just money—it was a message of hope to a child who lost her father and continues to dream of a safe and dignified life.
We sincerely thank you for your compassion. Your donations bring hope to orphaned children and remind them that they are not alone in this world.
