In the village of Talbiseh, located in the countryside of Homs in central Syria, little Hanan lives with her mother in a modest home that carries the silence of sorrow and the weight of loss. Hanan lost her father a few years ago, and since then, her mother has been both her only parent and sole support, facing increasingly harsh living conditions every day.
