Thanks to your generous support, we were able to provide a financial sponsorship for Laila, an orphaned girl living with her grandmother in one of the camps of Khan Younis, in the heart of the Gaza Strip. Laila lost both of her parents during the tragic events that struck Gaza.
Life in the camp is extremely difficult. Laila’s grandmother, despite her old age, does her best to care for her granddaughter and provide love and protection in the absence of her parents. This sponsorship has helped them meet their basic needs for food and clothing, and has brought a sense of stability and comfort amid the harsh conditions.
Your continued support gives children like Laila the chance to live with dignity and to dream again. Because of your generosity, warmth and hope still reach the hearts of those who have lost so much.
