Mann Deshi Champions is happy to annouce that we innagurated the Boxing Centre for female athletes on 25th March 2023. We are honoured and thankful to SP of Satara Mr. Sameer Shaikh for being our chief guest for the inauguration. The boxing centre is an important milestone in the Mann Deshi Champions journey in encourgaing young girls to ennage in sports and providing access to sporting facilities in rural areas.
Currently, Satara is experencing an increase in criminal cases amoungst teenagers. There is a need to ennage the youth in a productive manner. Due to the lack of skills and increase in unemployment, youngsters are unable to get jobs and therefore enngaging in crimes. We aim to work closely with the Police Department of Satara to introduce sports training for children and teenagers. With acess to sports, youngeters will ne able to develop their confidence, self-esteem and learn the importance of working with a team. We aim to develop skills that will enable the atlethes to become employable and financially independent in the long run.
